In some exciting, but also bittersweet news, the group will be relocating to the Stony Brook University Chemistry department over the summer. I am looking forward to the future, but will miss all of the amazing colleagues and friends at SDSU Chem-Biochem
In StonyBrookChem Professor Karena Chapman’s functional materials lab (@kchaplab), PhD Student & Turner Fellow Bryan Sanchez Monserrate devised a strategy and used a webcam to watch chemical reactions as they occurred. Learn more about their findings here: news.stonybrook.edu/university/web…
Had a great time StonyBrookChem. Thank you for the opportunity to present our research findings and share our chemistry! Looking forward to future collaborations.
Great to see TCNJ School of Science students excelling in grad school!
Congratulations to Kevin Wang, an undergrad working in the Aponte-Rivera Lab, on being a 2024 SUNY - The State University of New York Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence awardee! news.stonybrook.edu/university/13-…
What do synchrotron Xrays🔦🩻 and a webcam🎥 have in common?
We use both to study nanoparticle synthesis🍳!!! While Xrays see the atomic details, the webcam captures the bigger picture🖼️ AND we don't need to wait for beamtime📅💅 Bryan Sanchez Monserrate StonyBrookChem pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ja…
