Students from Homebush West, StrathfieldGirlsHigh, & Homebush Boys High School were lucky enough to have a surfing lesson with Luke Eagan, professional Australian surfer. The students enjoyed their lesson at URBNSURF, the newly opened outdoor wave pool. What an experience for our students!

Today our school hosted the Gapyeong Delegation visit from South Korea. Our SRC and Korean students did a fantastic job showcasing our school. Thank you to the senior choir for their moving performance. They were very impressed with what they saw!

This morning our school was represented by school leaders Natalia and Youngsun at the ANZAC Day dawn service in Burwood. Lest we forget.

The SGHS Dance Ensemble is feeling like a team with the arrival of their team shirts! We would like to wish these students the best of luck as they head into their first performance of the year at Pulse Alive on Friday 15th March!

Our annual Cross Country carnival was held last week. A wonderful day for participants and staff alike! Thank you to our PE staff for their organisation!

Last week our Year 10 Visual Artists visited the Biennale of Sydney at White Bay Power Station. The girls were tasked with creating experimental works on paper as a response to the site in preparation for their Term 2 Artmaking Task. The exhibition was a fantastic bonus!

Our amazing StrathfieldGirlsHigh students have traveled to Fiji during the school holidays to help build concrete paths & prepare food for a refuge. The students were also given the opportunity to connect with those who lived in the refuge to learn about their culture & traditions.
