A Year 7 student came up this nice way of finding the Lowest Common Multiple. They weren’t sure why it worked but just they found it seemed to work. When we talked it through they realised why it worked. Nice method to come up with within the lesson!

Having looked at rearranging formulae with my Year 10 class earlier in the year, I knew that we would have to take formulae where the subject appears twice really slowly, with plenty of scaffolding  to build their confidence. So I made a couple of Fill in the Blanks resources....
