Pioneers: Three guys central to Sungura history jam together recently. Zakaria, Solo Makore & Shepherd Chinyani (jacket).

Chinyani nurtured many; Cheso, Chibadura, Zakaria, Ngwenya, Chimbetus, Tazvida etc. Chinyani’s DZ house was a mecca for wannabe guitarists from all over Zim

That fire Khiama combination: Shamiso (written by Alick Macheso, 1991) and Mwari Baba (Zakaria, 1990).

Legacy: Great tunes from John Jr, Simba and Knowledge Chibadura….

Nice touch seeing them do stuff with Douglas Katsvairo, who was part of their dad’s band, Tembo Brothers.
