Watch out for non-ITTE providers who are suddenly promoting themselves for teacher training. They see the ITT market review as an opportunity to make money. They’re asset-stripping the skills and knowledge built up over decades by teachers who’ve benefited from our ITTE sector.

It’s quite amazing how many things that the DfE wants to impose on schools in the name of school autonomy 😏

It is estimated that schools could lose thousands of pounds from this decision.

Alongside the EEF, we are calling on the government to reverse this decision to ensure that schools receive pupil premium funding for all eligible pupils.
