Today I am remembering Lady Valerie Meux who lived in Theobald's Park in Essex, dying in 1910. She was an important yet forgotten supporter of Egyptology, mates with Bram Stoker (who needs no introduction) and EA Wallace Budge who first translated the Egyptian Book of the Dead..
