Meet Andrea Cabero del Hierro who is on track to complete her PhD Trinity College Dublin focusing on the electronic properties of MXene, a two-dimensional material derived from the MAX family.
It was wonderful to meet with retiring staff who have dedicated themselves to Trinity in so many different ways.
In particular, it was lovely to meet Martyn Linnie (School of Natural Sciences, Trinity College Dublin) who has worked in Trinity for 55 years!
Time for this year's TCD Ultramicroscopy Research group photo! Since last year, we especially welcome new students Matthew Mosse, Megha Kachappilly and Maixent Cassagne (all beginning with 'M' by pure coincidence 🤔).
Meet Dáire, one of our educators at Trinity Walton Club! 🌟 Starting as a Walton Explorer, Dáire now helps fuel our STEM programmes, inspiring future innovators. Maths can be complex, but who said it can't be fun? 😄 #rolemodels #STEMLearning #SaturdaySTEMClub

Congratulations to our new Trinity College Dublin TCD_physics fellows Profs Kate Maguire and Neale Gibson! Special congratulations to our new #TR063 Physical Sciences Foundation Scholar Erasmo Marcozzi and to honorary fellow DIAS Peter T Gallagher! 👏👏
Thank you so much to all of our TCD_physics TCD Alumni who joined us for our Trinity College Dublin #Physics300 celebrations. We could not have done it without you! Special thanks to Louise Bradley + the amazing #Physics300 team for making these events happen. Happy 300th everyone!
Lovely listening to the stories of Marian Woods daughter of TCD_physics Professor ETS Walton & Irish Physics Nobelist. She herself was a pioneering sole female student in her physics class graduating at the beginning of the 1960s. Two of her three brothers also did physics.
