The women In Trade for Inclusive and Sustainable growth (WIT) Project promotes export opportunities for women led companies in Uganda to access Canadian and other international markets.

TFO Canada along with Uganda Export Promotion Board | UEPB, Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency & @CAWEE_org are hosting a buyers’ mission from Canada & Europe from March 30 - 9 April 2024. Kicking off in Uganda 18 SMEs, 13 women-led, met with 10 buyers from Canada, Germany & the Netherlands.

& facilitate the participation of 14 SMEs at the NY Now Trade Show.   In 2023 Canadian imports from Bangladesh totalled $CAD 1.6 billion. The main imports from Bangladesh include knit apparel, miscellaneous textiles articles, headgear & footwear.
