May is #GetOutsideMonth in the Toronto District School Board! The TOES staff have worked together to highlight 22 picture books to use as provocations to get outside all month. Working with Toronto District School Board_cebsa and TDSB Professional Library we are looking to amplify the black and indigenous characters and authors.

It’s early this year, but the maple sap is dripping and we are boiling our first batch of maple syrup. Thank you to the students @BrianPS_TDSB for helping us to start the season!

Marvellous maple day with Zion Heights Middle School TDSB: making a 'sap pipeline' on the hill was a great challenge; measured sugar content with the refractometer, and found evidence of beavers. TOES_TDSB

Best way to understand the benefits of our pipeline: carry sap through the bush to the sugar shack without spilling a drop. Lesson learned! Bravo, #BlacksmithPS ! TOES_TDSB
