Today was an amazing day. S’s we’re struggling w/ mixed numbers so we made some latkes in class. We are reading Number the Stars and S’s don’t have a lot of prior knowledge about Jewish culture. The learning connected Social Studies, Math, Language Arts and Science.

My first 14 years of T’chng my 2nd graders would go to a whole different school for 3rd. Now I’m in 5th grade and see all my former S’s daily! They stop by all the time. Today one presented on her passion of Irish Step Dancing. She was amazing. Then she pied me for Pi Day!
