The team from the COVID-19 Lab at the Royal Hobart Hospital is celebrating their new lab space and equipment. The new lab space and machines will increase Tasmania’s COVID-19 testing capabilities. Our scientists are processing thousands of tests every week!

The Mersey Community Hospital COVID-19 Ward staff have been working around the clock to care for unwell patients in the North West. They take it all in their stride as just doing their job, but we all know their commitment runs much deeper than this – they are simply incredible!

This week the Royal Hobart Hospital’s Reception, Patient Admissions and Transit Lounge opened in K-Block.

Patients and visitors to Mersey Community Hospital will notice a striking new sign as they enter the car park.

The sign, an eye-catching nurse figure which reflects in bright blue, has been installed by the hospital auxiliary to celebrate their 70th anniversary.

Launceston General Hospital's Food Services team have been busily preparing meals for the Tasmania Fire Service. The meals were delivered to Fingal for those battling the bushfires.

A new lung function laboratory was officially opened at the NWRH earlier this week, thanks to a generous donation from local NW businessesman Dale Elphinstone.
