Inka Essenhigh's 'Show Girls' and 'Daedalus and Icarus' 2000 are accompanying silkscreen prints united in their drama. 🎭

They both feature faceless figures because for Essenhigh ‘faces add baggage’. bit.ly/3JPEY3j

Frances Hodgkins’s striking painting, Loveday and Ann, was painted in 1915.

Much like the artist's other work, this double portrait combines a flowing sense of movement while also producing a vivid intensity.

You can find it on display Tate St Ives. 🌊

Nancy Holt's film Sun Tunnels explores the processes of the creation of her work, made of four large concrete tunnels in the Utah desert. They're positioned to bring, as she said, “the stars down to earth” & are aligned with the sunrise & sunset of the summer & winter solstices.
