Taxi Charity When people talk about heroes , these are the guys that fit the shoes. Rest in peace sir.
Below a watercolour “My memory Normandy 6th June 1944” by WW2 veteran hero Bill Gladden, who died yesterday aged 100. One of the last, but never forgotten, of the Greatest Generation.

Taxi Charity Bill Gladden: one of the finest men you could ever hope to meet. He will be missed by many many people. We were privileged to know him
Today, on St George’s Day, our volunteer Micky Harris, who founded the Taxi hailing app UnifyLondon which supports charities, was invited to an event at No 10.
Well. What can I say? Thank you Mark. We Taxi Charity do our best. We do it for our love of veterans that served OUR country. We ask for nothing as drivers but apprect all that’s given for OUR charity. Thank you ALL for your love & support over the years. Humbling at times ❤️
Taxi Charity So when Mark came rolling towards me at Charing Cross station, it was all one-handed. He had done most of the marathon with just one hand as his other shoulder was out of action. Unbelievable achievement by this man. humbled by his achievement
Thank you Taxi Charity Brian for driving Mark to the London marathon today and congratulations to Mark for completing the course with a dislocated shoulder.
