We presented #RepairingTheWorld 📽️ at #NorwinHighSchool 🏫where community members also were invited. Having victims and members of their families present for the discussion raised the impact of the film. We can't wait to see how students use their power to change the world 🌎.
Last week Teen Screen visited #PittsburghCarmalt to present #RepairingTheWorld : Stories from the Tree of Life to 7th and 8th graders. Students watched and discussed the film; they were curious about the events depicted and inspired to create change in their school and at home.
Our short film programs are popular.👏 This is especially so during #BlackHistoryMonth and #WomensHistoryMonth . Our curated Black Experience in America and Women's History and Empowerment sorts were seen by more than 5,000 students and teachers this year. 💗
Every year Hampton MS sees a film at MovieScoop Cinemas when studying the #Holocaust . Don't miss your chance! Field trips are being scheduled now, and many, many films are available virtually to watch at school wherever you are. Comment below, and we'll reach out to you.
📣Foreign language teachers-- have students hear languages and explore how language creates and affects experiences. On Thurs, students from German, French, and Holocaust classes at Central Valley School District traveled to Pittsburgh to see #TheCrossing at #TheHarrisTheater .
Last week we welcomed Winchester Thurston Middle School to The Harris to see specially curated short films with the theme #ThePowerOfOne . Students were treated to a virtual visit from one of the filmmakers who encouraged them to think about ways they could change the world.

Teen Screen got to spend the past two days at WV Dept of Arts, Culture, & History's Arts in Our Communities Conference! We were treated to performances from Aristotle Jones and Adam Booth who were phenomenal storytellers. Also always so nice to see Coat of Arms too!
