I'm thinking about doing a Voters guide to making your choice on 29 May.

Something that doesn't tell people who to vote for but explores different ways we can make voting choices to make sure you use your vote for the outcomes you want.

Not who to vote for but how to decide.

Sometimes you need to admit that you can't hear what someone says because you don't like who is saying it.

We all have biases that can alter our interest in good faith engagement. If someone you hate says something you like and that makes you not like it, the problem is you.

Similarly no political party will give you everything you would like. Even party leaders don't get everything they would like from their own parties.

Voters have no perfect choices. That's not to say we should except the best 'devil' but not let perfect get in the way of good.

Politics is not a zero sum game. Even the worst leaders have their success stories apart from those blowing smoke you know where. Same for successful leaders. They have own weak points and blind spots

On this #WorkersDay , my thoughts are with the millions of women and men who are fighting for their lives as a result of the exploitation and abuse endured daily in workplaces. They are depressed, anxious, distressed and broken. They see no way out because jobs aren't many.

Tessa Dooms Agree. Working with the youth a person realizes how bad we as society/government has failed. Not just with job creation, but also on the social ills experienced. Never thought I would still see this on grassroots level - in 2024.
