It was a privilege to lead our first Centre in Optical Microcombs for Breakthrough Sci #COMBS2024 Workshop last week, with ~80 people from all over the world and of course all our nodes in Australia - collaborating on monitoring earthquakes, turbo-charging the internet, astronomy and fundamental physics (and more!)

4 days, 75 attendees & more than 50 presentations – our inaugural COMBS Workshop last week spanned astronomy, fundamental physics, earthquake monitoring & our internet infrastructure (among others).

Now to get to work and continue the collaboration!

Time to head home to Melbourne after 2 days in Sydney for @science_aus first face to face event for this cohort of #SuperstarsOfSTEM It has been a truely inspiring and amazing experience to meet my fellow superstars.

Our first in-person workshop of the #SuperstarsOfSTEM program! The energy and sisterhood I felt all day was amazing. Only Day 1 so far! Thank you Ricardo plc and Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology for supporting my participation in this program. And of course Science & Technology Australia for delivering it.
