This happened a few times this year when some #NTUJournos court reporting students visited Nottingham Crown. It seems some judges are forgetting - either deliberately or inadvertently - the rules they must follow. Well done Lizzie Coutts + Polly Rippon for calling it out.

Another day, another judge bans students from taking notes in Crown court. I will be complaining to Judicial Office the law is clear. Members of the public are able to take notes unless they are interfering with course of justice. #openjustice
