We were back at Wythenshawe Forum, Wythenshawe today for arts & crafts with SPICE Green Superheroes. A lot of our regulars were at a party in Sale so we were a smaller group than usual - so we had a really good chat and double the refreshments! We were bringing brightness to the dark November nights at our arts & crafts River Beal Café and Community Hub today. Eric, whose passion for recycling led to SPICE Green Superheroes project, joined in making tea light holders from jars. It was cold outside, but there was lots of warmth inside!💚💚

At the 2nd The Friends For Life Group Clean Up and Chat this week wythenshaweparkrun our Green Superheroes walked 2.5 km & collected almost 3 kg of litter, 1 kg of which could have been recycled. It was great to meet folk from a Breakthrough walking group, lots of friendly dogs & their humans!

It was too hot for litter picking with the SPICE Green Superheroes today so we stayed inside the cool River Beal Café and Community Hub and got arty. We made fans to help us stay cool in the heat and everyone got a water bottle to help them drink lots of liquids and stay hydrated #BeCreative
