so stoked with how these are turning out🤩 planning it in your head, seeing it a few inches wide on your phone, then seeing it more than 2 feet wide is so neat

help me get to the next total solar eclipse in 2026 and pick up one of my autographed prints!

10 years ago today, launch of CRS-3 & the first flight of landing legs on a Falcon 9. A buildup of water in the flame trench caused a plume of dirty water to spray up at liftoff, but was no issue other than for photos!

Caught this interesting looking F-35 on Sidewinder today, kinda looks chrome? Or maybe it's just the suboptimal lighting.

Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft emerged early this morning from the Commercial Crew and Cargo Processing Facility (C3PF) at Kennedy Space Center. Its journey is to SLC-41, where it will be mated with an Atlas V rocket ahead of the crewed flight test targeting a May 6 launch.

Thanks to NASA JPL for hosting media yesterday! We got to see NASA Europa Clipper in the cleanroom before it is transported to Florida for launch in October. It was truly surreal to stand next to a spacecraft that will be orbiting Jupiter in just a few years time. Chris Bergin - NSF

Totality in Dallas, Texas.

While initial plans for today’s eclipse were frustratingly spoiled for reasons out of my control, I was at least able to capture this couple who had flown all the way from Salt Lake City, Utah in their Mooney to witness their first eclipse since 1979.

April 8, 2024—a day I’ll never forget☀️
Here’s my composite over one my grandfather’s pear trees here in Indiana showing the Sun slipping behind the Moon and emerging just 90 minutes later!🤩
