I’m truly excited to see how the students of The X for Boys Life Prep school, perform on the Georgia Milestones this year.

This is Year 2 of being open. Lots of studying when we’re back from Christmas break!

One thing I've always done is teach my boys valuable life lessons that they would never learn in a classroom. Some things like changing your own oil will bring a level of confidence to these young men that simply learning something in a book never would.

Listen, at least none of the black men or boys in this video are wearing business suits.

Otherwise, we’d never hear the end of it from “the community.”

Every time we go on a break, the students seem to forget who we are and what we do, when they return.

We do this to get them accustomed to speaking louder, as many boys have become soft-spoken and never speak with any dignity or confidence.

We’re making men!🙌🏼

The X for Boys and I, two years ago during Black Future Month. Some of the boys you see in the photos have grown, one’s in college, one has his own clothing line, the rest are getting taller than me, Kendall is 2nd on the right and he won the spelling Bee the other day. Time flies!
