Sadly, this is his legacy, I was serving at the time. Traumatizing as we were trained, the person at the other end of the weapon was the enemy. In good faith to my own people, I could no longer serve.

I can't stop thinking that it was Brian Mulroney that called out the military on the mohawk nation. I was in the military and was asked how do you feel if we got called out. I couldn't answer, I could never like ever point a weapon at my own people. I was ready to end my career.

Driving home, got a glimpse of, what appeared to be a body in the snow. My 21 yr old girl, said. 'I got this' Went up, woke up the unconscious man, called 911, assessed, asked all the questions, comforted the man, briefed the medics on arrival. I think she saved a life. Wow!
