The Mid-Norfolk Railway is pleased to announce that our Spring Diesel Gala for 2024 will consist of the railways home fleet (03063, 33202, 47580 & 47596) and a guest mainline locomotive, we will be able to release more information regarding this visiting locomotive tomorrow.

Colas HST confirmed for Spring Diesel Festival (16-19 May).

We are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement with Colas for an HST (43301/43303 plus 3 trailer vehicles).

Thanks to Colas for the loan of their locomotives.

There’s not long left for the 507s on Merseyrail - with the Wirral Line fully 777 operated today there were just the 3 pairs (015/029, 016/028 & 023/033) on the Southport-Hunts X line to photograph, and a quick look at celebrity 507001 which was visible in the sidings at SOP

A day in London today and I spent some time on the TfL GOBLIN/now the “Suffragette Line” to take some photos for a future feature in Today's Railways UK. It is great how this line has been transformed in recent years with new trains & a reliable 15-minute service, seven days a week
