We use a diff-in-disc and find an effect of higher deductibles at the transition to adulthood: they reduce the use of mental health care by low-income girls.

New paper by SCBH members❗️Combining perinatal register w/ tax records data 🇳🇱, Joaquim Vidiella-Martin Tom Van Ourti Jasper Been Eddy Van Doorslaer Pilar Garcia-Gomez show that singletons w/ higher income parents are more likely to survive the perinatal period than those from lower income households

In this study of singleton births in the Netherlands, higher household income was generally associated with lower risk of stillbirth and lower rates of early neonatal death. This association prevailed at higher but not at lower gestational age. ja.ma/3EJPDZ7
