After recently winning the MVAC Grey Division title, the Garfield girls track and field team kept things going by winning the Cuyahoga Heights Division III district championship on Friday.
Congratulations!
Garfield scored 116 team points to finish ahead of Wellington (80).

The Mogadore girls track and field team keeps collecting new hardware.
On Friday, the newest trophy earned was the Norwayne Division III district championship.

The Wildcats finished with 85 team points to finish ahead of Norwayne's 71.5.

Field has hired Aaron Male to be the district's new athletic director.
Male, who had been a teacher at Mogadore and formerly a Wildcats football assistant, takes over for Brian Misanko.
Misanko is staying in the district and will be the new asst. principal at Brimfield/Suffield.

Waterloo has hired Gavin English to be the new boys basketball head coach. English, a 2021 Vikings graduate, takes over for Jason Wise, who recently resigned after 11 years as the program's leader.
