It’s a lovely morning for Hawthorne at Anglers Country Park

16th May 2018 I was near Royston on day 2 of Boundary No Boundary, painting on 3 panels what I could see from the Wakefield District boundary, looking outwards. All 60 paintings from that project will be at Anglers Country Park from 28th June - marking 50 yrs of the Wakefield District.

I always enjoy seeing this ancient lime tree at Yorkshire Sculpture Park It’s very old but still creates new branches and leaves every spring.
