The conversation has started! Last month, Transport Oakland joined East Bay Transit Riders Union and Seamless Bay Area to learn about Link21 - stay tuned for more opportunities to get involved in the plan for a new transbay passenger rail and advocate for safe, equitable transit in Oakland.

We implore AC Transit and OakDOT to improve the safety of transit riders and others walking and biking near Fruitvale Station:
1. Remove the dangerous slip lane on San Leandro at Fruitvale
2. Include a marked pedestrian crossing at 7th and Fruitvale

At this past weekend's conference, California Democrats passed a resolution to provide additional relief funding for transit. State funding is critical to keeping transit running when federal pandemic relief runs out in a couple years, as ridership will take longer to recover.
