Under the sea! 🐠 Scholars from Sojourner Truth Public Charter School got to trek through mid-waist water in SmithsonianEnv's Marsh Hike, Oysters, Seining, and Microscope Lab stations. They learned about sea life and the history of marshes, like their role in the underground railroad!

In support of #PrideMonth , Sojourner Truth Public Charter School scholars walked in the Capital Pride Parade! With the help of their school's Gender Sexuality Alliance and teacher, the students handed out notes of encouragement as they passed others. We ❤️ to see such joy, love and inclusivity! 🌈
