Today marks Estonia’s 20 years in EU & with deep disappointment we saw #Georgia passing the „transparency on foreign influence“ draft law in 2nd reading despite the calls not to.

Violence against peaceful protesters & this law is not a way to the European Union.

Today 2⃣0⃣ years ago, #Estonia became a full member of the #EU 🇪🇺.

This landmark day symbolises the establishment of friendships, partnerships and unity that is an integral part of 🇪🇪 today.

On May 1st 2004, 🇪🇺 took a monumental step.
 
10 countries from Eastern Europe and the Baltics joined the EU, 75 million people became EU citizens.

Today we observe RU’s occupation of #Zaporizhzhia NPP & reckless military moves near it, risking massive nuclear disaster.
