.Speaker Mike Johnson , Russia is Irans closest ally. By delaying aid to Ukraine, you are helping Irans closest ally. Please pass the new aid bill to Ukraine and Israel now and stand with our democratic allies & partners against their/our autocratic foes.

The deployment of Western militaries to intercept Iranian missiles and drones aimed at Israel stands in stark contrast to our diminishing support for Ukraine which is suffering from a chronic shortage of air defence weaponry. We clearly can and simply must do better than this.

This tweet is an extraordinary exhibition of dishonesty: It is Mike Johnson who has appeased Russia and Iran for many months, by refusing to allow the House to vote on a bill that could provide weapons to defend against both of them.
