This was an extraordinary achievement, made ever more impressive by the fact @uklabour did it within a year of taking office. What will Keir Starmer's year 1 govt-defining act be? For my own part I'd like to see serious step towards integration w Europe, eg a customs union.
. London Ambulance Service LFB Southwark Southwark Police | Central South BCU should've been asked first, their views included in the resident consultation & that the changes are on a (ยฃ1.5 million) trial, not permanent basis. A reminder that this LTN *did* delay emergency services before it was re-opened after ES pressured Southwark. More than one a month.
Why would Southwark think that closing it again won't cause more delays?
Local residents deserve answers.

The cllr from Dulwich Village claims the FOI from the London fire brigade is wrong without providing any evidence.
We say to Southwark Council James McAsh: publish all the documents between Southwark and LFB today.
Show us.
Helena Horton There is certainly a difference in approach. While Carlos Moreno | IAE-Paris Sorbonne points out these are not just traffic schemes in Paris, with a cross-section of measures including protecting local shops, in the UK they are precisely that and no more.
We are naturalising warehouse retail here.
Dominic K. Obeng Shimano Steve Rachel Aldred Marks & Spencer have directly blamed council policies of #ReducedAccess (LTNs, CPZs) for their policy of relocating from town centres to retail parks, cf Walworth Rd.

Keir Starmer why are blind peoples access needs not being taken account for in new cycle lane schemes? This is in London - a scheme which which we said at consultation would not be safe or accessible for blind people to independently navigate it. Why were we ignored?
Better public transport is, was always, and will ever be the solution to tackling car dependency. Cycling isn't - as much as I love it and find it convenient. Clean Air For All Dulwich Croxted Clean Air too Cllr Kieron Williams Sadiq Khan
