New Houston Christian coach Craig Doty has retained Terry Johnson and is expected to hire Evan Lavery as associate head coach, per source.

Lavery has been Doty's lead assistant for 9 of his 12 years as head coach - 3 at Rock Valley College and 6 at Emporia State.
