Last week, one of our esteemed faculty members, Dr. Grace Jepkemboi, received The Padma Awards, presented by the UAB Commission on the Status of Women! The award shines a light on those who go above and beyond to persevere in support of underrepresented populations. 💚

Earlier this month, faculty in our Kinesiology program hosted a workshop at the Alabama Future Health Professionals (HOSA) State Leadership Conference. The workshop focused on movement and performance analysis using force plates and fitlights. #uabkinesiology

This group of physical educators aced their recent assignment! They led a group at Oak Mountain Elementary School in a tennis skills training this week. As you can tell by their smiles, they had a great time and loved the hands-on experience of working with young learners. 🎾

A long-time UAB ESL professor earned the Alabama-Mississippi Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages' (AMTESOL) first-ever lifetime achievement award.
