I think we all might need some good news today. Just had this delivery of 1500 wildflowers for planting by vols & staff at Hardknott Forest this season. It'll almost be a shame to see them leave the front garden. Thanks to Adam Adam CumbriaWildlifeTrust. We will send some photos.

Really enjoyable first day back with volunteers after the summer break. Making inroads into the Sitka regen surrounded by naturally regenerating native woodland means a good day is always had.
