Effective Aug 1, James Fraser, PhD, has been named the new chair of the Dept. of Bioengineering and Therapeutic Sciences (BTS), where he has been a professor since 2013 and authored research about AI capable of generating artificial enzymes from scratch. tiny.ucsf.edu/j1x44p
