SPIA alumna, Katherine Mann (AB '17), recently co-authored a new book entitled, 'Aiding Empowerment: Democracy Promotion and Gender Equality in Politics.' Mann is working on her PhD at the University of Cambridge. Her book gives insight into gender gaps in international policy.

Check it out! Students in Dr. Dougherty’s Game Theory class did an in-class experiment on voting in committees. With help from a grant from the Center on Teaching & Learning, students were able to log into the game on vote on various policy points in two dimensional space.
