Our friend Alexandra and colleagues from ULB Center for Diabetes Research indicate a predominant role for the interferons, both IFN-α and IFN-γ, in the pathogenic response observed at the beta cell level in #type1diabetes as compared with a milder impact of IL-1β and TNF-α.
