The panel discussion on “Impact of landmines, improvised explosive devices & unexploded ordinances on cultural property” was held within the Baku Intercultural Dialogue Forum. Mr. Qadeem Tariq, the UN Development IRH Programme Specialist-Mine Action, made a presentation with focus on 🇦🇿.

Next priority is agriculture. In 🇦🇿 we are facing wind & soil erosion. It's a natural phenomenon, which means the land that is being cultivated is leading less to good yields and harvests. We are using the same land, but we are producing less.

Another topic is coastal areas. If we look at pictures and hear how the Caspian Sea looked before, even 100 years ago, we can see that there are some manmade effects of how economies have been exploiting the environment.
