Had a productive meeting with Karolina L Billing UNHCR Ukraine. We discussed ways of collaboration to overcome consequences of 🇷🇺 aggression. Providing help for victims of 🇷🇺 and joint projects to improve access to consular services for Ukrainians are of utmost urgency.

Working closely w/ the Government of 🇺🇦 & local administration, UNHCR Ukraine ensures support to social and administrative institutions.

Our continued cooperation supports policy development & strengthens the capacity of services, benefitting displaced + war-affected Ukrainians.

Together w/local authorities, Global Empowerment Mission & the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, UNHCR has rebuilt a 2-storey apartment building in Myrotskyi, Kyiv region🇺🇦, which was severely damaged after the full-scale invasion.

Now 16 families can return home & start rebuilding their lives.

After an overnight attack in #Kharkiv City, causing damage to a hospital and further destruction, and injuring a civilian, humanitarian workers acted swiftly.

They provided immediate aid, including hot meals, psychosocial support & repair materials to cover the damaged windows.
