.Secretary Antony Blinken just arrived in Cairo to meet with the Egyptian President and Foreign Minister Shoukry. He will also join leaders from Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and the Palestinian Authority to continue work towards lasting peace and security in the region.

In Jeddah, I met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Foreign Minister Prince فيصل بن فرحان to discuss the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and efforts to immediately increase aid to Palestinians.

I reaffirmed our commitment to lasting peace and security in the region.
