5/1: USBP agents in Las Cruces, NM performed a vehicle stop, resulting in a bail out & a foot pursuit. They apprehended Mexican national, Luis Antonio DeLeon-Lovera, who is a Pasias gang member.

He will be prosecuted for felony re-entry into the U.S.

4/30: USBP agents & our law enforcement partners in Tucson, AZ interdicted +57 lbs. of methamphetamine, & +88 lbs. of Fentanyl.

4/29: USBP agents in New Orleans, LA conducted a vehicle stop & arrested an MS-13 gang member, Lorenzo Alexander Benitez, from El Salvador. He will be prosecuted for felony re-entry after being previously removed from the US

FY24: USBP agents have arrested 41 MS-13 gang members.

Over the weekend, USBP agents in Eagle Pass, Rio Grande City, & Cotulla, TX arrested 3 criminal sex offenders. All had prior felony convictions for Indecency w/ child Sexual contact.

They will be set up for prosecution and removal from the U.S.

4/22: USBP agents in Eagle Pass, TX, and Orlando, FL, arrested 2 convicted sex offenders w/previous convictions for sexual assault and crimes against children. They now face prosecution and removal.

So far in FY24, agents have arrested 130 criminals with prior sex offenses.

4/22: USBP agents in Laredo, TX arrested a Mexican National who is a self-admitted 'Tango Blast' gang member w/ 24 arrests for illegal entry, under multiple names & dates of birth.

Certainty of arrest & consequences = Border Security = the only way to stop subjects like this.

4/15: USBP agents in El Paso, TX arrested a Mexican subject claiming to be a citizen of Guatemala. During questioning, the subject confessed to two murders & being wanted for drug offenses in Mexico. Subject was repatriated back to Mexican Authorities.

Great Binational Effort!

This past week, USBP agents seized over 2300 lbs. of controlled substances. That's the equivalence of +$20M worth of narcotics kept from our communities.

4/15: USBP agents in El Paso, TX & Laredo, TX arrested 2 Mexican national 'Paisas' gang members w/ previous convictions for Assault Causing Bodily Injury, Discharge of a Firearm in a Municipality, & DWI.

Subjects will be entered into removal proceedings & returned to Mexico.

4/10: USBP agents in Santa Teresa, NM arrested a foreign national wanted for attempted murder out of El Salvador. The subject faces criminal prosecution and repatriation back to El Salvador to stand trial for these charges.

4/13: USBP agents in Presidio, TX apprehended another illegal migrant attempting to enter our country. He had various tattoos that associated him w/ the Tren de Aragua gang.

This FY, USBP has made +270 gang-affiliated apprehensions, w/ 6 subjects from this gang alone.

4/8: USBP agents in San Diego, CA assisted Mexican officials w/ rescuing a total of 39 migrants from 2 Mexican human traffickers during 2 binational efforts.

4/8: USBP agents in El Paso, TX disrupted a smuggling operation that was using apartments to stash 27 illegal migrants.

4/7: USBP agents in Buffalo, NY assisted our local law enforcement partners in the search for a runaway 15 year old female. A K9 team & drone were utilized to locate the female in a heavily wooded area.

Fortunately, she was found in good health & returned to her family.

4/8: USBP agents in Ajo, AZ responded to a 911 call from a Mexican National in distress.

Fortunately, an AZ DPS rescue helicopter w/ a BORSTAR paramedic on board located, applied tourniquets, & safely extracted the subject for further medical evaluation.

This past weekend, USBP agents throughout the southwest border interdicted ~270 lbs. of hard narcotics.

This time, over $6M in highly addictive and toxic drugs.
+220 lbs. of Cocaine
+40 lbs. of Methamphetamine
+3 lbs. of Fentanyl

3/31: USBP agents in Ysleta, TX arrested an undocumented subject w/ an active warrant for Attempted Homicide from his home country of Honduras.

He will be prosecuted, removed, and extradited to serve jail time for his criminal act.

4/3: USBP agents in Del Rio, TX arrested 2 sex offenders w/prior felony convictions to include sexual assault of a child, and sexual assault. They will now face criminal prosecution and removal from the country.

4/3: USBP agents in Ysleta, TX arrested a Venezuelan w/ no prior criminal history but w/ tattoos associated to the Tren de Aragua Gang.

Watch out for this gang. It is the most powerful in Venezuela, known for murder, drug trafficking, sex crimes, extortion, & other violent acts.
