Just before the pandemic hit, #LucyMaudMontgomery ’s beloved Gog and Magog were returned to us from the Canadian Conservation Institute. Yesterday marked the first time these famous Staffordshire dogs were taken for a walk since returning home, and we think they look exceptional!
Wishing everyone a happy and healthy #ThanksgivingWeekend ! To celebrate the season, here's a photograph from our Campus Collection highlighting the changing of the leaves in front of Johnston Hall.
Opened in 1903, the Macdonald Institute at University of Guelph initially taught young women nature study, manual training, and domestic art/science.
By the time these photos were taken circa 1952, it had become one of the premier home economics schools in North America.
