The Regional Perinatal Center has received accreditation for its ultrasound practice by AIUM Ultrasound.

The center, located at Upstate Health Care Center, 90 Presidential Plaza in Syracuse, cares for more than 7,000 expectant mothers a year.

A Donate Life Month celebration was held at Upstate Golisano, honoring organ, eye & tissue donors.

Speakers included Gina Richardson, a mother whose son, Ty’Sean Richardson, was killed in an accident. Ty’Sean loved superheroes, so his mother made him one by donating his organs.
