We are honored for being chosen as Virginia Tech's top residential community this year, and exceptionally proud of our cadets who received awards last night at the Residential Well-Being awards ceremony.

Today, the Corps is participating in #InternationalDenimDay to stand in solidarity with victims of sexual violence. As leaders, it is important to create an environment of sexual assault prevention education.

Congratulations to #VT27 on the completion of Caldwell March and two rigorous semesters of first-year cadet training! From mastering the basics of drill to embracing Ut Prosim, they’ve made us proud and we are excited to see them as small unit leaders next semester!

We are excited about a new scholarship opportunity! Rising juniors and seniors in good standing with a current FAFSA and cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above will receive an additional Horizon Fund scholarship of $3,500! More scholarship details are available in the captions below!

Last Thursday, we were honored and excited to present Homer Hickam '64 with our Distinguished Alumni Award. Hickam, author of 'Rocket Boys' and co-creator of Virginia Tech's famed Skipper cannon, joined us for the ceremony and met with cadets on Skipper Crew.👏

Yesterday, Virginia Tech Medal of Honor recipient 1st. Lt. Jimmie Monteith was honored with a plaque in the National D-Day Memorial’s new Medal of Honor Garden. Cadet Jacob Troupe and Maj. Gen. Fullhart spoke to the audience about the impact of Monteith’s selfless service.

We are wishing our Virginia Tech Hokies Women’s Basketball Team good luck today in the NCAA tournament! 🫡🏀

Last Saturday, platoons raced the clock and each other during the annual Platoon Tactical Challenge. From the rappel tower to the obstacle course, five stations and over four miles of ground to cover, cadet leaders and operational planners were put the test.

Thank you Jim Woolsey from DAU for traveling to Virginia Tech to learn more about the Virginia Tech National Security Institute and the VT Corps of Cadets, and to meet with student scholars in the Defense Civilian Training Corps (DCTC)!
