The Forgotten War in Sudan. Vicky Ford MP chaired a meeting UK Parliament today of APPG on Sudan World Food Programme said the situation is “catastrophic” only 10% of people can be reached because warring parties block access.Minister Richard Benyon & Lyn Brown 🌹 called for an urgent end to war.

Today World Food Programme Regional Director for East Africa Michael Dunford took part in the APPG for Sudan and South Sudan's 'One Year on: Reflections on the Conflict in Sudan' event alongside passionate voices for peace in the region.

The message is clear, #Sudan can't be forgotten.

Sudan's war risks triggering the world's largest hunger crisis across the region. Humanitarian need is growing, yet conflict makes delivering assistance at scale impossible.
