Huge congrats to Prof Boris Martinac who’s been awarded a $2.5M @NHMRC Investigator Grant to focus on how Piezo1 and TRPM4 channels work in the heart. It’s hoped this work will find new targets for treating heart diseases including abnormal heart growth.
