Half day, so managed a bit of Quoiching while the sun was out this morning. First bumblebee of the year. First (peacock) butterfly. And legions of green tiger beetles. All enjoying the sunshine.

Our Northern lynxes, Neon and Switch, are very elusive can be one of the hardest animals to spot at the park 👀

You can often catch a glimpse of their distinctive black ear tufts in the bushes at the front of the enclosure – their favourite sneaky hiding place 💙

I was home very late last night, but this big ride to recce the new Cateran Dirt Dash route was worth it. Amazing views that make some of the short boggy sections worthwhile. This will be even more fun with warmer temperatures & likeminded people in May - dirtdash.cc/cateran/

Fantastic conditions to be out on the tops on Easter Sunday. For those interested in long-lasting snow patches, here's a photo of the Sphinx patch which sits below Braeriach. This was previously almost guaranteed to last all year, but has melted in each of the last 3 years.
