Happy Easter to all of our friends and followers!

Today we're looking at Greyfriars Church. In the chancel is this unusual little rabbit wearing very fashionable footwear! He may be a commentary on a local cobbler but at any rate, he makes for a very unusual Easter Bunny! 🐰

One of the more unusual items we have is this miniature coffin designed to hold human ashes.
The rhyming inscription reads: Anno 1844/Beneath the lid you'll find with care enclosed the dust of Old Jack Maher/Kilkenny.
See it in the Irish Wake Museum - opening this Summer!

On this day 331 years ago, examinations began in the infamous Salem Witch Trials. Believe it or not we have a funny little connection here in the museum - a coconut cup with a colourful past. Head over to our Facebook to find out more!
