RNLI Challenge complete! Target doubled with an incredible £1,014 raised for such a fantastic cause. Thank you so much to everyone @officialwmas WMAS HART friends and family who supported Ayesha & myself throughout December 🙏🏻👏🏻 🚑

D Team have been raising money for Bham Children's Hosp 💙 this November by running 1838km, a km for every child diagnosed with cancer per year. Today they completed the last couple of kilometres, just in time, and raised a total of £1105 for this great cause.

Our drone team are currently assisting West Midlands Fire Service and WMAS HART at a large industrial fire in Dudley. Fire are utilising our imaging to formulate strategies on how best to tackle the fire effectively whilst maintaining public safety. Log 2115 15/9 DW #dronesforgood

West Midlands Ambulance Service #HelpUsHelpYou #ambulances and WMAS HART #paramedics attended the scene. Upon arrival the casuality was assessed and found to have sustained non-life threatening injuries.

The heatwave didn't stop some of the HART and Dudley hub staff absolutely smashing the 3 Peaks Challenge last week! 😮⛰

They completed the challenge within 24 hours to fundraise for #ANDYSMANCLUB and in memory of paramedic Andy Watson who, sadly, passed away in May. 💚

04/09/23 20:54 - Crews from Coleshill, the Water Rescue team from Rugby, supported by WMAS HART have rescued four people stranded on an island between a river and a lake in Kingsbury this evening.

No, this isn't a funny looking 🚑

It's actually our Polaris 6x6 vehicle, used by HART (Hazardous Area Response Team) to navigate tricky terrain in the West Midlands, allowing us to get to our patients, wherever they are!👏 #teamWMAS

Some of our vehicles are bigger than your average ambulance, and you might see a few of our vehicles at once. Please make sure you give us (or any 999 vehicle) some space and time if you see us.

#DidYouKnow about our Hazardous Area Response Team (HART), which comprises of specialist paramedics who are able to operate in challenging situations.

HART have access to specialist resources to access patients within difficult terrain, including the Polaris vehicle 👉 🚑

Our West Midlands Ambulance Service #HelpUsHelpYou Ops, Recruitment and WMAS HART colleagues are all set up and ready to meet you at Handsworth Park from now until 6pm this evening

WMAS HART deployed to assist with this incident, and are very proud of the team that dropped everything with 3 hours notice to deploy.

Thanks to Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service and West Midlands Fire Service for letting us exercise with you. HART paramedics are trained to access and treat patients anywhere, including when we need to climb to access. Once treated, we work with our emergency service colleagues to get them to safety.
