The Whitcliffe Mount Y9 football suffered their first cup defeat of the season losing to a strong, physical Holmfirth High side 3-1. The Whitcliffe goal came from Harrison G. The treble is over, but they can still do the double, with the Spen Valley Cup final still to be played.

Our assemblies this week have been on Embracing Difference and we have had a special guest. Keevey in year 9 has presented to each year group sharing how being profoundly deaf can be celebrated. We are so proud of her! 👏🙌👏

Due to the poor weather today’s Y7 football training has been cancelled. It will be on again Monday 22nd April.

It has also been decided to postpone the Spen Valley cup finals which was due to be held on Sat 20th Apr.
