04:06 08/04/24 - Two fire engines from Coleshill and Sutton Coldfield Fire Station have attended a lorry fire on a business park in Middleton. The fire involved the cab of a heavy goods vehicle.

Crews gave oxygen therapy to the driver of the lorry whilst awaiting West Midlands Ambulance Service #HelpUsHelpYou Paramedics.

03:50 08/04/24 - Two fire engines from Henley-in-Arden and Leamington Spa have responded to reports of a house fire on Packwood Lane in Lapworth.

Upon investigation the alarm was a false alarm with good intent.

16:53 07/04/24 - 1 appliance from Nuneaton attended a rubbish fire on Chilvers Rise in Nuneaton.

Crews extinguished the fire and left the incident in the hands of the Police.

14:04 07/04/24 - 2 appliances from Nuneaton attended reports of a building fire on Chequer Street in Bedworth.

This turned out to be a malicious call. This meant that 2 appliances in the north of the county were not available for other incidents during this time.

11:50 07/04/24 - 1 appliance from Coleshill attended an industrial road roller which was on fire on Chester Road in Solihull.

Crews used hose reel jets, breathing apparatus and thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire.

19:14 06/04/24 - Two fire engines from Stratford and Leamington are in attendance at a large wooden structure on fire on Old Warwick Road in Ettington.

The structure is well alight, crews are using hose reels to extinguish the fire.

16:14 06/04/24 - Two fire engines from Polesworth and Atherstone have attended 70 tonnes of straw on fire off Pooley Lane in Polesworth.

Crews have used main jets supplied from a light portable pump to extinguish the fire.

The incident is now closed.

17:00 06/04/24 - 1 appliance from Stratford and the Drone crew from Bidford assisted Warwickshire Police at an incident on Rother Street in Stratford Upon Avon.

There were reports of youths on top of a roof. Fire crews and Police searched the area but no youths were found.

17:36 06/04/34 - 1 appliance from Kenilworth attended an address on Farm Road in Kenilworth in which the smoke alarm was sounding.

The alarm was caused by burnt cooking.

17:34 06/04/24 - 1 appliance from Alcester is in attendance at a van leaking fuel on Salford Road in Bidford On Avon.

Crews have mitigated the spill and are awaiting the attendance of the Highways Agency to clean the road.

16:33 06/04/24 - 1 appliance from Alcester and 1 appliance from Bidford attended a road traffic collision on Alcester Bypass in Alcester.

2 people were handed over to the Ambulance Service.

16:14 06/04/24 - 1 appliance from Polesworth and 1 appliance from Atherstone are in attendance at a fire on Pooley Country Park in Polesworth.

Crews are using hoses and a light portable pump to extinguish 70 tonnes of hay. Smoke is crossing the M42 near this location.
